Domestic Violence Law Enforcement: A tale of three cities
A look at domestic violence policing in three cities: Duluth, Baltimore, MD, and New York. The film explores the origins of the mandatory arrest policy in Duluth, the evolution of the "Duluth Model," and best practices as currently practiced on the streets. In Baltimore, we profile the new Family Crimes Unit, a detective unit dedicated to domestic violence crime. And in New York, we get an inside look at the 46th Precinct in the Bronx, New York's busiest domestic violence precinct.
The video is a companion to the new documentary, "Power and Control: Domestic Violence in America." For extensive free online video resources and more information, go to powerandcontrolfilm.com
